Hanan Gazit, PhD
 
Hanan Gazit serves as a researcher and lecturer at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. He is the academic Manager @ Shenkar Virtual Reality Lab in SecondLife.
Lecturer at Tel-Aviv University on Gamification and Engaging Interactions. A Former lecturer at The Instructional System Technologies development, H.I.T- Holon Institute of Technology.
Hanan holds a Ph.D. degree in the Learning Sciences and a Magna Cum Laude M.A. degree in Science Education, both from Tel-Aviv University. A former post doctorate fellow researcher at LIRT Lab, The Caesarea Edmond Benjamin de Rothschild Foundation Institute for Interdisciplinary Applications of Computer Science (C.R.I.), University of Haifa. Prior to his academic career, Hanan served in the I.D.F as an instructional design expert.
Hanan served on the Association of Virtual Worlds' Advisory Board, and currently on the Editorial Review Board of the International Journal of Gaming and Computer-Mediated Simulations. He founded and heads the Digital Games Research Association [DiGRA] ISRAEL Chapter and manages its facebook and LinkedIn group.
